Bradley in Haiti

When Bradley was born, his dad and mom couldn?t wait to surprise their parents. But excitement turned to fear and shame when they found out Bradley had clubfoot. So instead of sharing a joyous moment, Rubens and Darline hid their son?s feet from the grandparents and friends.

One of the greatest moments for a family, the birth of a child, was taken away. Hopes and dreams for the future of their child were now a distant thought. However, once they found out that clubfoot is treatable, the spark of hope was renewed.

Bradley?s treatment began less than a week after he was born. Rubens and Darline saw improvements in their son?s foot after just one cast. Eight casts were needed before Bradley could enter the second phase of treatment — maintenance. Today, he is wearing a brace only at night and even reminds his mother to put it on him before going to bed.

?Mission accomplished,? his parents said. ?We are very satisfied with the treatment and share our testimony everywhere, and talk about the faithfulness of God.?
