The New York Times columnist and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Nicholas Kristof recently gave a shout out to Hope Walks in his regular email newsletter that goes to thousands of subscribers. We appreciate the recognition of the work our partner clinics are doing to help children with clubfoot!

Here?s a little of what he said… ?Skeptics sometimes doubt that foreign humanitarian aid does any good. I always answer that it?s hard and doesn?t always work, but some interventions have a very high success rate. One example is clubfoot…?

In his book “A Path Appears,” Kristof and his wife wrote about Rashida, a little girl in Niger who received clubfoot treatment from a Hope Walks partner clinic. ?We were happy to share a video with him that showed Rashida walking free of clubfoot. Seeing her transformation prompted Kristof to call this an age of miracles. We couldn’t agree more.
