Piper Purcell, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Piper has been involved in evaluation and data analysis for more than 30 years, longer than she usually admits to being alive. She was attracted to working at Hope Walks because she liked the mission and clarity of the organization and wanted the chance to build on HW’s already robust data system.

Piper loves getting people excited about the power of data to change the world, and her superpower is getting people to love numbers. She comes to Hope Walks after getting a master’s in Sociology from the University of Chicago and spending a decade in Asia working for World Vision and Samaritan’s Purse. She has also worked for Gallup, Palladium, and World Relief.

She lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with the small white dog that runs her life.
