Jeremy Macias, Monitoring & Evaluation Program Officer

Jeremy serves as the Hope Walks Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Program Officer. He is from the U.S. West Coast (Southern California and Washington state) but has been living in Malawi since 2009. Prior to his time in Malawi, he served in various music and youth ministry roles in churches in Washington.

In Malawi, he was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, served as the Malawi Country Liaison for Children of the Nations International, and most recently worked as an M&E consultant for both World Relief and a local children’s center in Blantyre, Malawi. Jeremy holds a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries from Northwest University and a master’s degree in Global Development and Justice with Multnomah University.

Jeremy met his wife, Madalo, while serving with the Peace Corps in Malawi. They got married on the shores of Lake Malawi in 2012 and now have three children: Paul, Anna, and Abigail.
