Erin Williams, Director of Technical Support

Erin serves as Director of Technical Support for Hope Walks. In this role, she guides the overall organizational strategy and decision-making by championing the technical aspects of the programs. Along with the director of programs, she leads the Global Programs Leadership Team and has oversight of Hope Walks Latin America programs.

Erin is an occupational therapist whose global health journey began in 2011 while serving with Mercy Ships. It was there that she first witnessed the Ponseti method for clubfoot treatment and watched toddlers take their first steps on straight feet. This experience steered the course of her professional pursuits for the next ten years. She has international experience in Sierra Leone, the Republic of Congo, Malawi, and Madagascar, has held supervisory positions both stateside and abroad, and served with global organizations, including Mercy Ships, CURE International, MiracleFeet, and Hope Walks.

Erin holds a Master of Applied Science in global health planning and management from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She holds a Master of Science in occupational therapy from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in family studies from Samford University.

Erin spends her time with family and friends in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. Her first six months with Hope Walks included living in several of our program countries in Africa where she learned more about the programs and fulfilled her dream of sharing the love of Christ while facilitating sustainable clubfoot care.
