Where does the money go?

Thank you for your interest in Hope Walks East Bay 2008 supporting Children of Grace, the Hope Feeds peanut-butter-based nutrition project, Lotoba, with HEAL Africa in Goma DR Congo, and Global Strategies for HIV Prevention in the care of orphans and vulnerable children in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo.  We are excited to have you involved!  This year, Hope Walks East Bay is setting the goal to raise more funds than ever before, and we need your help! As the needs of orphans and vulnerable children continue from year to year, we are committed to providing Children of Grace with the same amount of funding as the past two years have provided, totaling $60,000 (half for school fees, clothing, housing, etc. and half for health care and HIV testing and care facilitated by Global Strategies for HIV Prevention).  After that $60,000 financial mark has been reached, funding will then go towards Lotoba.  Interested in learning more about the basis of this nutrition project?  Click Here

A number of San Francisco Bay Area churches are coming together for Hope Walks East Bay to initiate change in the plight of orphans. We are excited to extend the invitation to the Bay Area community to join us in this cause. Together we can unite this region and truly make a difference in the lives of children affected by HIV/AIDS.
