A “Beast” of an Opportunity to Heal Kids
Have you ever wondered what it takes to get a state-of-the-art medical clinic from a college campus in Texas to a rural hospital in Kenya? It turns out it takes an army of passionate students, a world-class logistics team and a “beast” of a partner.
We are beyond excited to announce that Hope Walks is featured in the latest Beast Philanthropy video!
If you’ve spent any time on YouTube, you know MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson). Named one of Time’s 100 most influential people, he uses his massive platform to pull off philanthropic feats that most people think are impossible. Our segment in the new video shows exactly how he helped us bring a new level of care to children in Kenya.
From Steel to Soul
The journey began with BUILD, a student-led organization at Texas A&M that converts massive shipping containers into high-tech medical clinics. They created a custom clubfoot clinic for us, but getting a 40-foot steel container across the ocean is no small task.
That’s where Beast Philanthropy stepped in. They covered the shipping costs to ensure this clinic reached its new home at Kilifi Regional Hospital in Kenya.
The clinic was dedicated on Feb. 4, 2026, and it is already changing lives. While the hospital uses it for various medical needs throughout the week, our partner, Clubfoot Care for Kenya (CCK), uses it as a dedicated clubfoot clinic one day a week. It even features an expansive overhanging roof to keep families cool and protected while they wait for life-changing treatment.
BUILD also works with Medical Bridges, a charity that fills each container clinic with thousands of dollars’ worth of medical supplies. The hospital where each clinic finds its forever home is the main beneficiary of these supplies.

Clinic update and reaction
A report from the field on the latest updates from the container clinic at Kilifi County Hospital in Kenya, which was dedicated on 2/4/26 and has already enrolled 81 new children as of 4/24/26.
Transform a life
We have a “Beast” of a challenge. Will you help us fund treatment for 81 children as part of our MrBeast celebration?
It costs on average $500 for the full five-year treatment (including casts, braces, counseling, appointments). A one-time gift of $500 will get us one child closer to our goal or a monthly gift of $39 a month will do the same thing after a year. Any gift will help ensure more children are free from clubfoot and more families know about the freedom found through Christ.

A “Totally Transformative” Impact
“This is a rare opportunity to bring Hope Walks’ work to a truly global audience,” said Scott Reichenbach, President of Hope Walks. “Moments like this, where tens of millions can see both the need and the solution, don’t come along often.”
The timing is significant. In a recent study published in Health Economics, economist Bruce Wydick found that Hope Walks’ intervention delivers outsized gains across multiple dimensions of well-being. His research shows improvements not only in mobility, but in long-term outcomes like education, social inclusion, and overall quality of life, highlighting one of the most cost-effective pathways to restoring human potential in global development.
More to Come
Since 2005, Hope Walks has treated nearly 180,000 children, including more than 20,000 in Kenya alone. Since the dedication of the new clinic in early February, CCK has begun treating 81 children in Kilifi, with more coming each week. Thanks to partners like BUILD, Medical Bridges, CCK, Special Logistics Group and Beast Philanthropy, we are just getting started. In fact, BUILD is already working on another container clinic for one of our partner hospitals in Honduras, set to launch later this year.
